Photoshot acquires Bruce Coleman USA

Photoshot, a stock photography company based in NYC, has announced that it has acquired Bruce Coleman USA a specialist image libray featuring more than 1.5 million nature and wildlife images from more than 300 contributing photographers. Beginning November 1st, all licensing inquiries to Bruce Coleman USA will be handled by Photoshot.
Photoshot views the acquisition as complementary to their existing archive which includes collections such as NHPA, Woodfall Wild Images, Oceans Image, Photos Horticultural and World Pictures.  The company states “we are confident that you will find this addition a great asset. Now you can rely on Photoshot for even more of the extraordinary nature, wildlife and travel images you have come to expect”.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
